Like Grandpa, Like Grandson

Sam's great grandmother (my grandmother) recently sent him a faux suede bomber jacket. It's size 6-9 months, but fits him like skin on a bologna.

My parents were up for a visit this past weekend and took Sam out for a walk to let Matt and me get some things done around the house. When they returned, I realized that Sam and my father looked like twins in their bomber jackets and ski hats. If you had removed both hats, you'd also notice a similar amount of hair on each head, or lack there of. Actually, I think Sam has more hair!

I made the hat for my dad last year, by the way.

I'm surrounded by cuteness!

Last Wednesday was Sam's and my last playgroup. I'll be back at work full time now and will miss our Wednesday meetings. I met so many nice moms and babies and learned so much from everyone.

Sam was the youngest baby in the group -- most of the other babies are 3-4 months older than Sam. That meant that all the mothers have that much more experience than I have, so to me, they are experts at this baby thing.

Every couple of weeks at the playgroups, we put all of the babies together on the couch and take a picture. (Notice how the babies on the couch are all propping each other up.) Sam was asleep during this, so since it was our last day, I got in the picture, too. I felt like E.T. in the stuffed animal scene, only I hope I look a little better than E.T.

I'm three months old! Where has the time gone?

I got my very own high chair today and I can sit in it while mom and dad eat their dinner at the table, but only for about 5 minutes. Then, I want out.

I can lift my head up pretty well, especially when I'm on my Boppy pillow. I really don't like tummy time, though.

I'm smiling a lot more, but not for the camera! I'm starting to laugh and squeal, too, which makes my parents very happy.

I weigh almost 16 lbs and I've outgrown almost all of my 0-3 month old clothes. I do love to eat...
