Seven Months of Sam
Sam turned seven months old on July 6. He can do all sorts of things now, like sit up on his own, for one. He loves to eat cereal and veggies and fruit. He's also sprouted his first tooth! It's barely visible, but it has broken through. All in all, Sam has become a pretty fun kid. To celebrate our first seven months with Sam, I put together the photo montage below. Enjoy!

Another Sam Video
It works! It works! The next few posts will be short videos that we have collected of Sam over the past few months.
This one was taken when Sam was 6 months old. He loves to "walk!"

let's go to the beach
Happy loooong weekend!
We, along with the rest of the North-east drove down to the Cape on Saturday. We stayed with Matt's folks and had a nice, relaxing, mini-vacation. Our good friends Peter and Beth joined us and it was great to go out and leave Sam with the grandparents.
Sam also had his first beach experience and it went fairly well. It could have been a little less windy, but even after falling face first into the sand and then having a beach chair blow over onto his head, Sam didn't cry!
Here he is in his surfer outfit that his grandpa gave him. The only thing missing is sunglasses. Sam actually has two pairs, but doesn't tollerate them well. Like father, like son.
